Employment contracts can be easily managed using Employment Hero, where once a contract is lodged, the candidate receives an email invitation to create an account and view their contract. The onboarding process consists of three steps: reviewing and digitally signing the employment agreement, entering personal details, and completing tax and work eligibility declarations. Entered personal information is securely stored and is integrated directly into the payroll system or can be transferred to third-party applications. Candidates must complete mandatory declarations for taxes and work eligibility that are automatically submitted to the appropriate tax authorities, such as the ATO or IR, complying with Single Touch Payroll (STP) or payday filing regulations. Additional onboarding steps include completing a medical disclosure statement if necessary and uploading any certifications required for the specific role.
