The integration between Crowdin and Contentful allows for seamless automation of content upload and translation, including main files and associated assets. To begin integration, users need a Crowdin Enterprise or Crowdin.com account and a Crowdin project. Integration is initiated through the Crowdin Marketplace by installing the Contentful app. Contentful CMS must be prepared for localization by enabling localization for desired fields and ensuring default and target language codes match between Crowdin and Contentful. Language mapping in Crowdin may be necessary for different language codes. Users can upload Contentful entries to Crowdin for translation and manage translations through an automated workflow or professional translation services. Crowdin provides contextual information to translators for accuracy. The integration features a native Contentful app that shows translation progress in real-time within the Contentful editor and facilitates easy access to Crowdin for ordering translations. Completed translations are easily synced back to Contentful.
